Preschool, kindergarten & 1st Grade

  • Homes and Habitats

    In this Preschool program, we focus on observing, comparing and classifying animals and their environments. We look at what they need to live and grow in their environment. We also play sensory games that help us put some of the animals into categories. The students will get to make their very own feathery friend to take home! Standards we focus on: CD14M

  • Leaves and Lizards

    In this Kindergarten program, we observe the differences between humans, plants, and animals. We also look into how to identify animate and inanimate objects! The students will receive their very own superworm pet! The standards we focus on :EX.K.L.1.1 , EX.K.L.1.2, EX.K.L.1.3

  • The Bear Necessities

    In this First Grade program, we identify the basic needs of any living organism and talk about the differences between living and non-living things. The students will receive a magical growing aquarium. The standards we focus on: EX.1.L.1.1 , EX.1.L.2.2 ,

  • Creature Feature

    In this First Grade program, we investigate animal body parts and what they are used for and look at the different materials their homes are made out of. The students will make their very own creature to take home. The standards we focus on : EX.1.P.2.2 , EX.1.E.2.2, EX.1.L.1.2 , EX.1.L.2.3

2nd & 3rd Grade

  • Critter Contrasting

    In this Second Grade program, we compare and contrast the features of a variety of animals and identify their physical characteristics. The students will get some snail slime to take home! Yuck! The standards we focus on: EX.2.L.1.1 , EX.2.L.1.2

  • Environmental Explosion

    In this Second Grade program, we expand our knowledge about different environments and the animals that inhabit them. The students will get to sift for and take home their own fossils! The standards we focus on: EX.2.L.2.1, EX.2.L.2.2 I, EX.2.L.2.3

  • Tundra Trek

    In this Third Grade program, we see why animals ‘matter’ and explore solids, liquids, and gasses. We identify the importance of physical science in the animal world! The students will get to create their own yummy treat! The standards we focus on: 3.P.2.2 , 3.P.3.1

  • Scales and skins

    In this Third Grade program we take a look under the skin and experience the parts of an animal we usually can't see. (This program includes preserved animal organs). The students will get to take home their very own brains! Dont worry. it’s plastic! The standards we focus on: 3.L.1.1 , 3.L.1.2

4th & 5th Grade

  • Magnetic Menagerie

    In this fourth-grade program, we explore Nocturnal and Diurnal animals and how they are affected by the Earth’s axis. We also look at the effects of magnets on items that contain iron. The students will get to take home some very unusual slime! The standards we focus on: 4.P.1.1, 4.E.1.1 , 4.E.1.2

  • Adaptation Exploration

    In this fourth-grade program, we identify adaptations that help animals survive. in their specific environments. We also look at how humans affect the environments they inhabit and what we can do to help. The students will create and take home their own biome! The standards we focus on: 4.L.1.2 , 4.L1.3 , 4.L.1.4

  • Beastly Biology

    In this Fifth grade program, we identify and compare biological systems that help animals survive. (This program includes preserved animal organs). The students will receive their own bodily system and an information card on that system! The standards we focus on: 5.L.1.1, 5.L.1.2

  • Reduce Decompose Consume

    In this Fifth Grade program, we investigate the different producers, consumers, and decomposers that make up an ecosystem. The students will create their own ecosystem for their new pet worm to live in! The standards we focus on: 5.L.2.1 , 5.L.2.2, 5.L.2.3
